After one day of running in the morning, I was hooked. I get the same euphoric feeling as I did running at night and my mind is quiet. I'm not thinking about school, work or stress yet. I'm just running and thinking about life (the exciting things). The other morning I realized how thankful I am to have the gift of running. It's really been a big part of me becoming the person I am today and I'm so grateful for that. Even though I'm not competitively running for my school, it's still had a huge impact on me. Because I'm a runner I care more about logging miles than going out on a Friday night, I spend more money on running shoes than on my current wardrobe, and water is my beverage of choice (synergy being a close second :)) I'll go into more detail in a different post about how running has affected my life, I'll start working on it soon!

Alyssa, I'm glad you made the post! Being a morning has so many benefits (obviously the people in Runners World agree!) because you can start your day with a nice fresh run in the crisp air, you have nothing yet to worry about and the endorphins are already pumping you through the day! You should see if the homework situations (aka. the dread of it all) changes after running a few weeks in the morning... I mean you get to enjoy your run without worrying about things and you have allllll day to do the things you hafta do without worrying about plugging in the miles for the day. Anyways, I'm so glad that you are so passionate about running, because I love talking to you about it! haahaa Keep on running girl.... every time you go out there think about your 1/2 goal and work it!!
P.S. I just heard you shut the front door... so you're off! I hope it was a good one, the sun is shining and the air is clear!
bye girlllll
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Running in the morning sounds really peaceful. I agree with you about running being a gift. It can make such a huge impact on my day.
Thanks for your comment on my blog! Hebrews 12:1 has always been a fave of mine, especially since I run. And you should totally check out a spin class. It's an awesome workout and great supplement to training!
I did a summer "stint" in morning running and i Looooooved it. It was such a great way to start the day for sure. And after a little bit of getting used to it, I felt stronger running in the morning. It was great. :)
As for Green Bay marathon, I'm a HUGE packers fan, like bigger than big, and always said that would be my first full. And now is the time for my first full, so it's on. I'm soooooooo excited.
I missed seeing you on Saturday!! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!! Blessed be the name of the Lord! Blessings, Earlene
